Casio G-Shock launches Iconic Styles collection, revisiting classic retro designs.
Casio reaffirms its old-school style by launching a new G-SHOCK watch collection, the “Iconic Styles Series,” which will take everyone back in time to experience the charm of the early G-SHOCKs once again, by bringing the classic retro design from the pioneering DW-5000C to reinterpret it perfectly.
This collection consists of five watches: DW-5000R-1A, DW-5600RL-1, DW-6900RL-1, GA-110RL-1A, and GA-2100RL-1A. Each model embodies the brand’s early 1983 era of innovation and cutting-edge technology.

A special highlight is the DW-5000R-1A , which is a perfect replica of the DW-5000C in every detail, from the length of the band, the texture around the band holes, to the position of the dimples. The edge of the dial features the words “PROTECTION” and “G-SHOCK” in line with the original design.
Including the use of red, blue, and yellow on the dial, the case structure is made of stainless steel. And the screw-down back cover is engraved with the words “Shock Resistant.” Importantly, this watch is also produced at Yamagata Casio, Japan. Which is the “mother factory” of G-SHOCK that produces original watches.
In addition, four other models in the Iconic Styles Series are inspired by the design of the DW-5000C, using red, blue, and yellow tones on the dial. Each model features slightly different details to bring back memories for fans.
